Ding! Ding!

Yipee! It was only a question of time before a bike would become the subject in one of my paintings. I had to celebrate because it has bought me so much enjoyment in the wonderful weather we have at the moment. A short while ago I bought a new bell which I love to ring whenever I can, next week I may treat myself to a new saddle.

  1. Hey, I love this. A self-portrait at last!!! It amuses me.

Thanks for your visit to my blog and your kind words.

I think you are on to something with these portraits.

  2. I had an inspiration this morning. Would you be able to paint my bicycle and me in this same manner from a photograph (for the likenesses of the bike and me)?

Do you have an e-mail address so I can discuss it off line?

  3. Nice painting, John. (size?)

Reminds me of some of the riders I see around my part of Texas, except here they leave a mist of perspiration trailing behind them from the heat!
