Flash Lane, Autumn Afternoon.

Looking up towards the brow of a hill on Flash Lane on a golden Autumn afternoon makes for a good painting. As is my usuaul painting method, I soaked the paper, performed the wet-in-wet background washes and finished off as the paper dried. Small details added when dry. Time taken Approx 1 Hour.

Palette for this one: Quinacridone Gold, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Touch of Cobalt Blue, Sepia.

Flash Lane, Autumn Afternoon. Watercolour 7 x 5 inches.
