Near Dobbs Weir.

My painting for today is called "Near Dobbs Weir". It's a stretch of the River Lee in Hertfordshire which has always provided inspiration. I love having water in my paintings. When this cold weather subsides I'm hoping to get out and about again to paint and sketch on location but my photos from the last couple of years will have to do for now.

Near Dobbs Weir. Watercolour 7 x 5 inches.

  2. Brr, I bet it would be a tad grey and barren there this week. Made me wonder if icecolours was a type of painting.
